Scald----Local Scab
Cause: Over-high Energy, usually occurs to patients with darker color skin.
Solutions: Disinfect skin and apply Scald Ointment. Avoid Sunlight. Usually no scars remained.
How to Prevent Scald?
(1)Start treatment when the treatment head is cool;
(2)Apply cooling gel is suggested;
(3)Patients with dark skin are suggested to use ice compress for 20 minutes after treatment
(4)Check to make sure treatment head laser output part clean (no dust).
Folliculitis——Red Spots or Acne; with Slight Itch
Cause:Sweat;Water
Solutions: Apply iodophor and anti-inflammatory ointment for one week to heal.
How to Prevent Folliculitis?
Apply iodophor immediately after treatment (for 3 days, twice a day) to prevent bacterial growth. (Similar medicine is also applicable.)
Allergy——Local or Large Area Urticaria with Severe Itch
Cause: Skin Allergy
Solutions: Take Antiallergic Medicine and wait for 30 minutes to recover. Allergy may appear in repetitions.
How to Prevent Allergy?
Allergy may occur to photosensitive patients or patients with allergic constitution. Patients with slight allergy can accept anti-allergic treatment during hair removal treatment.
If allergic reaction appears for only one time, it cannot be determined that the allergic reaction is caused by laser. Allergy may be caused by food, climate, etc.
